Asenoguan finished the regular season as the PACWEST's top scorer, averaging 22.3 points per game. The 6-foot-3 slasher also averaged over four assists per game which was tops on the Blues and fourth in the conference. He started 14 of the 16 games he played and scored 20 or more points 11 times and went for a season-best 32 in a 100-97 win over Douglas College Jan. 13 where he was 6-of-9 from three-point range.
Campbell was the only Blues player to start all 18 games this season and led the team in minutes played while most often being asked to guard the opposition's best ball handler. The 6-foot-2 native of Burnaby and graduate of Burnaby South Secondary was among the league leaders in assists per game and concludes his Blues career third in all-time points with 955, fourth in rebounds with 337 and tied for second in assists with 208.
Curley was a valuable contributor off the bench for the Blues in his first PACWEST season, using his 6-foot-6 frame to shoot over defenders from beyond the arc. Curley caught the attention of the league with a 22-point outing Dec. 1 at Douglas College where he was 6-for-10 from downtown. He hit multiple threes on five occasions including five times against Douglas on Jan. 14 and against CBC on Feb. 10.
The Blues head to the PACWEST provincial championship this week at Camosun College in Victoria, B.C as the tournament's No. 3 seed. They have a quarter-final matchup Thursday at 3 p.m. against No. 6 Okanagan College.
