Stephen Searcy and Sibby Bos earn Athlete of the Week honours.
Stephen Searcy is the Capilano University Blues Male Athlete of the Week.
Searcy played all eight sets on the weekend and combined six kills on Friday with a team-leading six digs as the Blues dropped a 3-1 decision to VIU.
The Penticton native was better on Saturday despite another 3-1 setback at VIU as he had a season-high 12 kills to go along with four digs and an ace.
Sibby Bos is the Capilano University Blues Female Athlete of the Week.
The Blues middle blocker led her team in offence for the weekend, recording double-digit kills both nights on a road trip to Vancouver Island University. Bos provided a presence at the net, altering the VIU attack and was also dangerous from the service line with multiple aces each night.
