Capilano University's Department of Athletics and Recreation is pleased to announce the addition of Janelle Eisler the staff as Campus Recreation Programmer.
Eisler comes to CapU with a broad range of experience in multiple recreation settings working with all age groups in the areas of fitness, sport and wellness.
“I am really excited to be part of CapU Rec," said Eisler. "I am looking forward to collaborating with the Capilano University community to explore, create and implement a variety of health and wellness programs."
In her new role, she will direct CapU Rec, overseeing programs including drop-in activities and classes while continuing to build on CapU Rec's mission to meet the needs of the campus community.
"We are super excited to have Janelle join our athletics and rec team," said CapU Athletic Director Georgette Reed. "She brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience that will help us continue the momentum CapU Rec has begun to serve staff, students, and the North Shore community.”
Eisler holds a Bachelor of Human Kinetics degree from UBC as well as a Master of Physiotheraphy (pre-reg) degree from Queen Margaret University of Scotland. In addition, she is a certified strength and conditioning specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NCSA).
