In recognition of a career season and her leadership of the Blues women's soccer team, Alanah Dulong has been named a CCAA All-Canadian.
Dulong was one of 14 women's soccer athletes recognized from across Canada at the annual awards banquet in advance of the CCAA national championship happening this week at Holland College in Charlottetown, P.E.I.
In her fifth and final season for the Blues, Dulong led the Blues to a first-place finish in the PACWEST, helping the team to a 7-2-3 record. The North Vancouver native and Seycove Secondary graduate posted a career best and PACWEST-leading eight goals in 12 games. Her goal on a volley in the final game of the season against Langara secured first place for the team and the conference goalscoring lead.
Dulong's offensive production this season puts her among the Blues all-time goalscoring leaders. After beginning her Blues career as a defender, she made a brilliant transition to forward over the past two seasons, culminating in the 2023 campaign which saw her earn PACWEST Athlete of the Week honours on Sept. 12, a conference all-star nod for the fourth time and now the CCAA All-Canadian recognition for the first time in her career.
Dulong becomes the 77th Blues athlete in history to earn a CCAA All-Canadian honour.
