With a number of recruits having been announced over the past few weeks, below is a complete list of those that have or will be announced shortly via our Instagram and Twitter accounts.

Aiden Adams

Hometown: Glasgow, Scotland
Previous Schools: Argyle Secondary School
Club: Coquitlam Metro Ford
Height: 6'1"
Position: Midfielder

Adams, “I chose CapU because of the great atmosphere and the competitive program. So far everyone has been really welcoming and I can’t wait to get started with the team”

Coach Millar, “Aiden is another great addition to our Blues program.  Aiden is graduating from Coquitlam Metro Ford of the BCSPL.  I’ve been able to see Aiden play in a couple of different positions and the versatility he adds will be very valuable to us.  I’m very excited about Aiden’s technical ability and game intelligence, and I believe that he will play a big role with us this year and for years to come.”

Previous Schools: Port Moody Secondary
Club: Burnaby FC
Height: 5'8"
Position: Centre Back

Gabel, "Everyone was super welcoming, and I am so excited to play for Capilano."

Coach Kindel, "Vienna is a center-back that's very good at making tackles and she's also quick to get forward to start counterattacks. We're excited to have such a large recruiting class joining our team as we pursue our goals."

Previous Schools: Cariboo Hill Secondary
Club: Apex Volleyball Club
Height: 6'3"
Position: Setter

Pakravan, "I decided to go to Capilano University because of the energetic, positive and supportive atmosphere that the whole team has created. I really enjoyed Markiel’s enthusiasm and the passion he has for the sport and also the way that he cares about every single player on the team. I also loved the beautiful nature on campus. I am super excited and grateful to be a part of this program and can’t wait to get started."

Coach Simpson, "Parsa is competitive and committed to reaching his full potential athletically and academically, which are qualities we've focused on building upon in this year's recruiting class. We're thrilled to have Parsa join the Blues!"

Olivier Kenny

Olivier Kenny

Hometown: North Vancouver, BC
Previous Schools: Carson Graham Secondary
Club: Apex Volleyball Club
Height: 6'4"
Position: Middle Blocker

Olivier, “I am thrilled to join CapU in September! I’m looking forward to being part of an amazing volleyball program and to be pursuing my studies in business administration."

Coach Simpson, "Olivier displays great abilities as an athlete, has a wonderful character, and reflects the volleyball community's growth here on the North Shore. We're excited to see his impact on the Blues this season!"

Xavier Masztak

Xavier Masztak

Hometown: Sydney, AUS
Previous Schools: Saint Ignatius College, University of Technology Sydney (UTS)
Club: UTS Volleyball Club
Height: 6'5"
Position: Outside Hitter

Masztak: “I chose to attend Capilano University because of its successful history and great reputation. The coaching staff and team have made me feel welcome and supported. I was also drawn to the vast facilities and beautiful campus Capilano had to offer. I’m so excited to be a part of this team and this University and can’t wait to get to Vancouver."

Coach Simpson, “Xavier has made remarkable strides throughout his volleyball career and possesses a high athletic ceiling and great level of determination to accomplish his goals. We’re excited to be a part of Xavier’s journey as a student-athlete and know he will make a positive impact on our program.”

Logan Andrew

Logan Andrew

Hometown: Vernon, BC
Previous Schools: W.L. Seaton Secondary
Club: Sky Volleyball Club
Height: 5'10"
Position: Setter/Libero

Andrew: “I decided to choose CapU for volleyball because of the amazing team atmosphere, and everyone was very welcoming and encouraging. I plan on studying Business of Administration next year at Capilano, and I really look forward to the next season with Coach Simpson!”

Coach Simpson, “Logan is a fierce competitor with a lot of technical skill and passion for the game of volleyball. His presence will be a great addition to the gym and we are excited to see him develop at the next level.
