Coach Weimer, "I'm excited to welcome Brooklyn to our Blues family and looking forward to being a part of her growth on and off the court next season at CapU. Brooklyn brings much needed height to our group, something we were lacking last season. I was impressed with her ability to shoot from distance and her soft touch around the rim. She has a high basketball IQ but is eager to learn and improve. Brooklyn immediately clicked with our current players and coaching staff on her multiple visits and will be a positive addition to our culture. Thanks for choosing BLUES!"

Jennie also exhibits the ability to connect and support her teammates which helped in her team placing 3rd at their 2023 AAA high school volleyball provincials. Jennie was also recognized as a AAA 1st-team all-star. We are very excited to have Jennie joining our Blues women’s volleyball program and we look forward to seeing her thrive on and off the volleyball court."

Position: Outside Hitter
Betker, “I chose CapU because of the kinesiology program and the welcoming and encouraging coaching staff. I can’t wait to get started!”
Coach Swanson, “I had the pleasure of meeting and knowing Abigail Betker during my time coaching at College of the Rockies. The Betker family were regulars attending and supporting their home team and I appreciated Abi’s interest in volleyball at a very early age. In her first two seasons competing in the PACWEST BC Conference Abi has become a very skilled and accomplished player. This past season she finished 4th overall in kill percentage in the league. We are very fortunate to have someone with Abi’s skill, experience, and team-first mentality joining our Blues program.”
