We are also members of the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA), which governs college sports for 99 member institutions across the nation.

ACADEMIC ALL-STARS

As coaches and educators, we promote a sense of commitment to both academics and athletics and motivate our student-athletes towards accomplishments in both disciplines. We are proud of our students' achievements on the playing field and in the classroom; in the 2020-21 academic year, 37 Blues student-athletes were named CCAA National Scholars and 15 earned PACWEST Academic Excellence honours.

In the 2020-21 academic year, 59 Blues student-athletes had a GPA of 3.0 or better.

Our goal is to develop student-athletes to be successful in life, and we believe hard work, commitment and discipline in the pursuit of these goals will help students become well-rounded individuals. Many fine student-athletes have graced the halls of Capilano University and have gone on to great heights in their athletic, professional and social endeavors.
