Athlete of the Week - Meagan Briggs

Meagan Briggs is the Capilano University Blues women’s Student-Athlete of the Week. The 5-foot-11 forward posted back-to-back double-doubles and helped the Blues to two road wins, including a victory over No. 1-ranked VIU. Briggs scored 12 points, pulled down 11 boards and added two blocks, a steal and an assist in CapU’s 61-55 win at VIU. She followed up the next night with 14 points while going 8-for-8 from the free-throw line and grabbed 10 rebounds in a 90-42 win at CBC where she also had three steals and three assists.
