Laura joined the Athletics and Recreation department in August of 2022 as the Athletic Therapist for the varsity sports program.

She received her Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of Calgary in 2016 and went on to complete her Advanced Certificate in Athletic Therapy at Mount Royal University in 2019. During her time at Mount Royal University, she worked with the Mount Royal Women’s basketball team and the University of Calgary Women’s field hockey and ice hockey teams.

Since certifying, Laura has gained further experience both in the clinic and on the field, working with a wide variety of sports and populations. Prior to joining Capilano University, she was working with Simon Fraser University in their sports medicine clinic and on the field with their football team.
